SKW - 90 days!!

Jings!! Only 90 days until the big day!!

Only a wee 8 miler this time... but it could become the regular 'short route' in between longer routes. And the bonus being it passes no less than three watering holes..... provided I time it right for opening times!

Hope this will be more representative of the SKW itself as had a mixture of road, track, mud and shore to contend with.

Ninety days. Doesn't seem long!!!

SKW - 97 days!

Tackled a 12.5 mile walk today - no interesting scenery and not the best walk in the world, but helped rack up the miles. Completed it in a reasonable pace - just over 15 mins a mile - but don't see me being able to do this for the Speyside proper.

Time to look out the map and find walks which will be more representative of the walk itself.... and sort out what footwear will work best. My wee toenail is taking a pounding and now my boots are hurting my ankle! Things were not like this in ALL the miles I've walked up til now!!!
